Objective
Celebrar os 40 anos da Cecy com uma peça cinematográfica que ficasse como memória da família: íntima, não protocolar.
Challenge
Filmar um evento privado em espaços com pouca luz, captando emoção genuína sem encenar nem interromper a festa.
Solution
Duas câmaras (SONY A7iii + A7sII para low-light) e drone DJI Mavic Air 2 nas vistas exteriores, com edição centrada nos discursos, abraços e olhares entre mãe e filha, em luz natural sempre que possível.
Results
Filme de 4 minutos descrito pela Cecy como "a melhor prenda que recebi em anos", exibido no Natal seguinte como parte da tradição familiar.
The brief
Cecy's family wanted to celebrate her 40th birthday in a memorable way: a private, intimate event with family and close friends. The goal was to create a cinematic piece that would remain as a memory forever.
Our approach
We worked with two cameras (SONY A7iii + A7sII for low-light settings) and a drone (DJI Mavic Air 2) for the exterior views. The editing favoured emotion: the speeches, the hugs, the glances between mother and daughter. No staging, with natural light whenever possible.
The result
A 4-minute film that Cecy described as "the best gift I've received in years." It was screened the following Christmas as part of the family tradition. It received warm feedback from the whole extended family.
