Frequently asked
questions.
Direct answers to the most common questions about timelines, pricing, equipment and workflow. If your question isn't here, talk to us.
01 What is the delivery time for the final video?
Timelines vary depending on the type of project:
- Conference/event coverage: highlights in 24-48h, final film in 1-2 weeks
- Wedding: 4 to 6 weeks after the event
- Institutional documentary: 3 to 8 weeks depending on complexity
We agree the timeline in the initial briefing and deliver what was agreed. For emergencies, we have an express service with an additional quote.
02 Do you work outside Mozambique?
Yes. We film across Southern Africa (Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi) and have experience with international destinations (Portugal, Brazil, Kenya, among others).
Travel costs (transport, accommodation, extra equipment) are presented in a detailed quote. For destination weddings and institutional projects, we can send a full crew or work with local crews at the destination.
03 How much does a wedding cost?
Our cinematic wedding packages start at 80,000 MZN (Essential) and go up to 150,000 MZN (Signature). For destination weddings (outside Maputo) or special requirements, we quote on request.
All packages include coverage, editing, and delivery in HD digital format. Optional extras (printed album, drone, second camera, pre-wedding shoot) are detailed in the final quote.
For a no-obligation quote: just send a message via the contact form or WhatsApp.
04 Who will be filming our wedding?
Depending on the package:
- Essential: me (Virgílio) + 1 assistant
- Signature: me + second shooter + drone operator
- Destination: full crew with a local coordinator
Our entire network of collaborators works with us regularly and knows the cinematic style we deliver. We never send anyone who hasn't been part of previous projects with us.
05 What equipment do you use?
We work with professional equipment:
- Cameras: SONY A7iii (main), SONY A7sII (low-light)
- Drones: DJI Mavic 2 Pro, DJI Mavic Air 2
- Software: Adobe Premiere Pro (editing), After Effects (motion), DaVinci Resolve (color), Photoshop (post-production)
The full technical rider is shared on request.
06 What languages do you work in?
We work in Portuguese, English, and Changana. For international projects with multilingual teams, we arrange professional translation and subtitling in any language on request.
07 Do you film two weddings on the same weekend?
No. We accept a maximum of one wedding per weekend to ensure we dedicate all our attention to each client. In exceptional cases (very distinct events in nearby locations) we may consider it, but it is rare.
This is a non-negotiable rule: we would rather turn down a job than compromise the result.
08 How does payment work?
We work with a 40% deposit on confirmation, 30% on the filming day (or midway through the project for institutional work), and 30% on delivery.
We accept bank transfer, M-Pesa, and cash. For institutional projects, we adapt to the client's procurement scheme (30/40/30 or milestones).
